Booking of Winter Semester 2020/21 Courses

Semester-length courses (02nd November 2020 to 26th February 2021) are two, three or four contact hours (SWS1)
Please note that the courses below are only for Humboldt students.

 

Course Booking


Online booking will begin on 04th November.
However, online booking for German courses begins on 05th November.

04th November 2020

  • 9 am: Czech, Hungarian, Polish, Russian
  • 10 am: English
  • 11 am: Italian, Turkish
  • 12 o'clock: Spanish
  • 13 pm: French, Latin
  • 15 pm: Arabic, Chinese

05th November 2020

  • 10 am: German as a Foreign Language

Classes start running from 09th November.

Registration Tips

  • For HU students

    Self-booking online!
    1. Do the online placement test to ascertain your language level.

    2. Book online. We advise you to enter your email address in the booking form so that you can receive a booking confirmation.

  • For HU staff

    No online booking!
    1. Do the online placement test for ascertaining your language level.

    2. Please ask for available places in the secretary of the wanted language. If so, ask the secretary for booking.

  • Language levels

    The courses and the placement test are based upon the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Our specifications may differ from those of other countries.

Fees

  • Courses

    HU students:
    20 EUR for a 2-hour course or 40 EUR for a 4-hour course

    HU staff:
    30 EUR for a 2-hour course or 60 EUR for a 4-hour course

  • Special courses

    HU students:
    Some courses will carry a special price, see course details on booking site.

    HU staff:
    Prices differ from those shown in the booking system.

  • Certificates of performance

    free of charge

  • Copies of Certificates of performance

    5 EUR each

Payment information

  • Payment deadlines

    Within five days after booking, the full course fee must be paid. If the payment is not credited to our account within this period, your booking will be automatically cancelled and you will have to book again, if a place is still available.

    Note that it is likely to take time for the transfer process, so please make the payment as soon as possible.

  • For HU students

    If you enter your email address in the booking form, you will receive a confirmation email including our banking details.

  • For HU staff

    Enrolment and payment will be handled via E-Mail.
